Cutter Videan was born and bred in the Phoenix suburbs, which left him decidedly against hot weather and constant sunshine. He formed an unfortunate videogame habit at the tender age of six, and only traded the controller for the guitar (he still hasn't put that down). Not too long ago, he made it through his last year at Arizona State University as an Art Administration major, and is now working coffee so he can afford to make the music so intrinsic to his soul. He wants to forge the path for Lit(erature) Rock with his honors thesis/creative project: a completely self-made concept album based on the book Labyrinths by Jorge Luis Borges. In future, Cutter plans on moving to a more rainy clime and compose music for video games; but for now he is content playing guitar and being the sound/recording technician for his local band The Darling Sounds. This blog is an outlet for his creative endeavours and pet projects, as well as a portal into the terrible, chaotic wreck that is Cutter's mind. Mainly, music is the end product; he creates and records both his and others' music. But as a creative person, he also enjoys writing, reading Tarot, and pretending to be a photographer. He plans to output something entertaining every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday–if he starts slacking, let him know by raising your skinny fists to heaven and shaking them in his general direction.
PS - Traditional bios are great and all, but the Director's Cut is much more unorthodox and interesting–in the author's opinion.
